We value the safety of our children and put the following precautionary measures into place:

• We do not allow parents to drop the children off, or pick them up at the gate. Children must always be accompanied by a parent to and from the classroom.
• Because we limit the number of children in the classroom, we ensure that we are aware of every child’s whereabouts at all times.
• We make an effort to know every child and their parents.
• We do not allow any person but the parents (and or other people identified by the parents) to pick up the child without the parents prior written permission. If unsure, we also contact the parent before allowing the child to leave the premises with such a person
• 24 Hour armed response

We make an effort to keep our classrooms as clean as possible. To ensure hygienic environment, we implemented the following:

• All nappies are disposed of in closed bins. These bins are cleaned at least once a day.
• All staff have to wash their hands after every nappy change with anti-bacterial soap.
• We do not use baby products on everyone. Your babies’ products are only used on your baby.
• Babies are changed on their  own changing cloth
• Ample ventilation in all classrooms.
• Staff uses surgical gloves in the event of stomach flu, diarrhea or vomiting. This hinders the spread of disease.

We also teach children their own hygiene, how to brush their teeth; wash their hands before eating etc.
