At Funtasia Educare centre we expect our staff to have basic knowledge on Early Childhood Development which includes mental and cognitive development, moral development, emotional development, behavioural development, social development, gross motor development, fine motor development and language development. We also expect our staff to have a real love for the children. Our staff has to be emotionally intelligent, because only emotionally intelligent people can teach children to be sensitive to their own emotional intelligence.
Internal training is a top priority at Funtasia Educare Centre. Our internal training cover the following topics:
- Emotional Intelligence in the classroom
- Early Childhood Development
- Class Practice
- Potty Training
- Discipline in the classroom
- First Aid
We have a monthly reading group where we discuss a book on Early Childhood development and/or methods on how to upgrade our classes and give a Quality service.
We also motivate our staff to attend external training on relevant topics to the services that we render.
We have a great motivational program for our staff. We ask our parents to participate in this by sending us regular compliments.
