After a few panic attacks (after visiting a lot of child care centers) and threats of quitting our jobs- we have come to one conclusion. If you want it done right, do it yourself.
We were appalled at the large ratios, conditions and then some of the fees some schools were charging. We were also faced with everyday problems, such as providing proper balanced meals for our babies and the rest of the family, getting our bodies back into shape and spending quality time with our husbands.
I wished that there were a place where I know my baby was safe, well cared for, educated and loved.
A place where educated people can help me with problems like when to start my baby on solids, when to stop formula milk and how to make my house safe. A place that I can combine exercise with quality time with my baby.
And then we thought, we could create such a place!
This place is Funtasia Educare Centre.
Funtasia Educare Centre is a dual medium childcare facility that renders a one-stop service to parents of babies 6 weeks to toddlers up to 6 years of age.
Funtasia Educare centre have the following aims:
Care for children:
- High quality, safe and loving care at our facility
Educate children:
- Funtasia has a creative and fulfilled programme for early childhood development that takes place in small groups.
Care for parents:
- Counselling services, going back to work survival workshop for moms, medical and dietary specialist availability on the premises, after hour and weekend babysitting and other programmes are rendered at Funtasia, thus creating a one-stop - service for parent’s convenience.
Educate parents:
- Parents are encouraged to take part in their child’s development. Workshops are held and newsletters send regularly with information to support and educate parents.
Funtasia offers a homely environment that is safe and created to optimally stimulate the child’s development on all levels. Our classrooms are spacious. Our ratio of teacher to children is small.
Our outdoor play facilities are also spacious and safe.
